So here is the DIY I promised to show you in the previous post. As well as the whole outfit, this DIY was a spontaneous idea, which came to my mind, when I was in a shop of hand made supplies.  The DIY will be separated in 2 parts, the first part being making of the bracelet, while the second one is making of the necklace.

I part: Making of bracelet

You will need:

-marine style rope

-lobster clasps

-soldered closed (perfect for hooking a clasp into)

-super glue

-end caps

-supplies in the marine theme

-thread and needle

Step 1:

The main part of the bracelet is of course the so called "eight knot", which is actually not so hard to do:

Step 3:

Hook the lobster clasp into the soldered closed and fix it to the end clasps.

  Step 2:

Fix the end caps with the super glue on both sides of the marine rope.

 Step 4:
Sew the supplies in the marine theme.

II part: Making of necklace

You will need:

-marine style rope

-lobster clasps

-soldered closed (perfect for hooking a clasp into)

-super glue

-end caps

-supplies in the marine theme

-thread and needle

Step 1:

Here we go again with another kind of knot, but this time invented by me. This is also not so hard to do, just follow the pics and don't forget in the end to fix with thread and needle the places where the marine rope is coming across.

Step 2, 3, 4 are the same as in making of bracelet.
