The Must-See Tour Around Budapest

Budapest as any other city you visit has it's must-see spots (the ones that you put as checked in your "typical tourist" travel list). Let's face it, no matter if we want it or not, it is simply a duty of a cultural matter to visit the most important sightseeings of the city you travel to. Here I made the list of a few places in Budapest I consider to be must when traveling to the beautiful capital of Hungary.

The Hidden Gems of Budapest

In the center of Budapest, on the edge of the former historical center of Pest there is a territory with narrow streets in the form of a triangle. This area is associated with the best and at the same time the saddest epochs of the Budapest Jewish community: the rapid flowering, the construction of beautiful synagogues in the middle of the XIX century, and the persecution in the 20th century with the culmination - the creation of a ghetto.

When visiting the baths

When I planned my trip to Budapest, one of the "must see" places in my wish list was the Gellert Thermal Bath. I read all the information I could find about baths in Budapest, cause there are quite a few of them here, Budapest being well known for its relaxing thermal SPAs. The stunning interior of Gellert Thermal Bath instantly attracted my attention, and as I am a real esthete, it was a pure eye candy for me.

Baby it's cold outside

Hours of wandering around the city in the company of close to heart people, new discoveries of the utterly beautiful corners of Budapest, the sweet and sour taste of mulled wine and the heady flavour of the cake baked on a spit, what more can I ask for?

When the winter holidays are approaching I become more and more excited, cause it's the best time of the year to travel and explore the festive look of the cites around Europe and not only. So I am looking forward to going to some of these places to feel all the fascination of the upcoming celebrations and to see all the surprises that the countries have prepared for the season.
