One more trip and one more adventure for me and also possibility to discover a new thrilling destination, this time being a beautiful city of Switzerland- Geneva. To my surprise, Geneva welcomed me with a wonderful weather and shining sun, thus I could fully take advantage of it and make dozens of photos, so that in the end it turned quite hard to choose the photos that I want to post.
Having finished my exams and feeling happy to be free of all the tension related to it, I can finally share with you, my dear readers, some pleasant moments spent in Frankfurt Palmengarten, the largest botanical garden of its kind in Germany.
One more day spent in Germany supposed one more chance to discover new places of interest and this time it was Würzburg, old Franconian episcopal city located not far from Frankfurt am Mein.
Frankfurt is the city of opposites, and by saying this I mainly mean the architecture, which is quite diverse in this city. On one corner of the street you can see an old building in classical style, while right across the street you notice a huge skyscraper.
So finally I can show you the photos I made in Germany and, to be more specific ,Frankfurt am Mein. If I were to describe this city in two words, they would be: modern and businesslike.
As I told you in the previous post, it's the last article from Greece. Promise I will not annoy you with summer mood any more, as I am really stuck on it, though for me it's a rather strong argument.
Whenever I travel, I try to find a place where I can feel close to nature, whether it's a botanical garden, a park or even a zoo. For me it's a kind of refuge from the crowded city, where everybody is always in a rush. It's my own piece of paradise, which I can find anywhere in the world.
One of the most wonderful things in Greece is the weather and the atmosphere which influences this beautiful country a lot. Actually, I think there's a really close connection between both of them, as this kind of sunny and blissful weather makes you feel somehow very relaxed.
So here we are again in the beautiful Thessaloniki, as usually surprising me with new sights and places to visit. It's like a treasure box, from which you never know what to expect, and every time you look in it, you will always find something new for yourself. This time I explored the Old Town, also called the Upper Town.
So here is the second part of my trip to Chalkidiki, and more exactly - to Ouranoupolis, a lovely and quiet town, that links to the Mount Athos, and has a port, where you can find several moored boats that can easily bring you to the azure shores of the beautiful islands.
When you are in Greece, this warm and hospitable country never stops surprising you with the beauty of its nature, culture and traditions. It ecourages you to discover more and more fascinating places, to find out more and more interesting things about it.
September in Greece is the time when you don't realize that autumn has already come, because the climate is so mild and the weather outside still temps you to put on your swimsuit and go to the pool. It's so warm and nice, that you strive to pretend, that summer is not over yet.
One more day in Athens and one more chance to explore its history and mysteries. This day was a real day on the run, as I wanted to see many sights and all of them where in different places, and, by the way, the plan was to admire them during a walk through the city.
In this post we gonna discover the beauty of Athens, and to be more precise- the ruins of the ancient temples of Acropolis, the most significant part being the Parthenon. So lets go through the photos and dive into the majesty of this land.
Speaking of London I couldn't resist the temptation to show you a very interesting, and in my opinion creative place to visit there, and I'm talking about the Camden Market. Yes, you have read correctly, a market, and I am pretty sure that you may be surprised, cause usually there's nothing interesting and creative about markets, but still I can assure you that this market is not a usual one.
Whether we accept it or neglect, fashion has a great influence on our lives. It affects our way of thinking, living, acting. Styles alternated over the centuries, and as a consequence changed the society we live in. This entire process of fashion development was displayed at the Fashion Gallery at V&A Museum.
One more time London surprises me with its diversity and beauty, harmoniously combining two parts which at first glance seem to be totally opposite: the classical and the modern architecture.
Today in the menu the jewelry exhibition at the V&A Museum which displays the history of jewelry through some masterpieces of different ages, starting from the ancient world till the modern times. So lets immerse ourselves in the magic world of jewelries.
One more day in London, and one more occasion to explore new sights in this wonderful city. This time we decided to admire the Westminster Abbey from the insight. Unfortunately it was not possible to make photos in the church, except for the inner garden, where I could make a mini photosession.
One of the expositions, that amazed andinspired me very much, was "The Glamour of Bellville Sassoon", located in Fashion and Textile Museum, which presented a selection of elegant and exquisite dresses made by the famous label Bellville Sassoon Lorcan Mullany.
