Being in Madrid, I have visited the exhibition organised by the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts in collaboration with the French designer Jean Paul Gaultier. This is the first international retrospective dedicated to this iconic French designer, who celebrated his 35 years of activity in the fashion world.
The biggest part of this post is dedicated to the Motjuic hill, except for some places which we have visited in the Gothic Quarter. Montjuic is one of the most famous sights in Barcelona, being full of museums, parks, and other interesting and beautiful places. There are also Magic Fountain and Poble Espanol here, these two being our main goals of sightseeing.
Studying the Spanish culture heedfully I also had an opportunity to get a closer glance at Gaudi's creations. Smooth forms, unusual solutions inspired by nature, functionality, mastery of playing with lights and colours; all these characterize his unique style and vision.
During my stay in Spain, I had an opportunity to see a lot of interesting things like monuments, museums, different expositions, all this avalanche of forms, colours, sculptures, buildings, served me a great source of inspiration. Thus I prepared for you some special posts, which I hope will lure you into the amazing world of Spain.
